  1. hanks everyone one for the advice.My Dad has taken the light to the zoo's electrician to do it.I was only going to do it myself if someone gave me direct instructions.The light has non earth so i will add one. cheers Kyle
  2. I have a fluro light which i bought off trademe.There are two wires a red and a black one.The black one goes to the thing which hold the fluros in place.The red one goes to a little box inside .Just wondering which is earth and which is power?? cheers Kyle
  3. go with bitaeniatum.You wont get striatum and gardneri sp males can be aggresive towards each other.Bitaeniatum stay a lot smalle than all the others and you could get 2 pairs in their probably.Easy to spawn aswell and i often find babies swimming with the parents if i forgot to check the mop for a week or two. cheers Kyle

  5. remember the lower the temperature the faster the eggs develop in the female.Higher temps more energy used =slower eegg development.I keep my Butteflys at 22c and find they spawn every 3 weeks.GBa's at 26c spawn every 2-3months when they were spawning. cheers Kyle

  8. There are huge albino guppies at Jansens Botany downs they look like line bred ones as all males llok same and so do the females.They were called albino snow guppies or sumthing.$12.95 each kyle

  14. It is a bristlenose.A foot a bit over the top :roll: .But Female B/ns can get quite big say max out 17cm.Males tend to stop at 15cm.So ye not quite a foot. cheers Kyle

  21. Here are some new pics of mine!! Young male Korthausae yellow(eyes=strange coz of flash)He has ninteen females with him look happy?? A male Gold Australe just collected 40+ eggs in peat this week. Female Hemiloricaria SP has just spawned 4days ago A whole lot of baby Choc australe i have bred approx 50 pairs in 3 tanks. More choc Australes stuff on front = salt frm BBS Aphyosemion Bitaeniatum Male Who needs more bitaeniatum sp hey Alan :lol: My Adult Male Korthausae Yellow is quite big now. hope u have enjoyed Cheers Kyle
