  1. yes you do get them in new zealand. There was quite a big import of them a while ago and i got two pairs and mine spawned no hassles except i never tried to raise the fry and they died and then a while after the parents died aswell. If you want some quite bad aske petworld the adrees is http://www.petworld.co.nz they have them at a high price though of around $90 a pair but if you breed yours you could easly make that back but there shipping rates are riddiculous over $100 or something i cant remember just ask

    WOW!

ye ballistic they are from aquabid and are going for quite cheap at around US$33 and are from germany and are called german blue diamonds. And LB they are not enhanced the only reason that you think they are is that new zealand has nothing near the colours of these guys and these are a rear breed even in the us

  10. um dan i hope you arnt going to just buy one as that would be rubbish and would not help new zealand in getting them going. The export of these from the amazon is stopped as they are goin to become extinct in the wild as the trbutury(spelling) they live in is becoming a dam and these fish will either become seriously endangered or extinct and are going on the cites list next year. The only ones that are available are from riverwonders at us$115 each and they have 400 also you can get them from breeders in europe and america so that is why so expensive and there not that easy to cath either i hear.Be carful though as you might get a abundant group or only males as males are for some reason easier to catch, who knows why?
