  10. Id go with male as if she is building a nest it is due to show off as males will try and build the biggest and best bubblenest tom show off.If u look at hollywood where they have all ther male fighters in breeding traps all males start to build bubble nests as a sought of competition so i would go with a male as males can also have brown lines present when not fully mature and i would put him as not fully mature cheers Kyle
  11. well fighting with other male= usually a male but sometimes females can be aggressive nest building=male so there is more chance male cheers Kyle

  19. Today my pair of lamprologus brichardi showed me that they had around 20 fry.I was hoping this would happen as the pair are going this weekend to Daniel(KribKrazy) and i was wanting to at least spawn them once.Well i guess your getting a good deal daniel i am going to grow them up and see if i can get a couple of pairs for myself cheers Kyle
  20. first of all why are you keeping them in a community tank with tetras? and how big are they for $6 they must be pretty small cheers Kyle
  21. common plecs are bred but you cant in a tank as they need mud to spawn in, as they dig tunnels in the mud and thats were they breed and people in asian countries breed them in big dams and i believe a person in Austrailia does aswell. The reason for breeding B/N's is that they only grow to max 15cm yet a full grown plec can get around 35cm+ and also the fact that they need mud and Bn spawn in anything cheers Kyle
  22. no point you cant breed them and ways of sexing them are unknown cheers Kyle
  23. actually blue and kim thats a twig you have got the wrong name Sturisoma festivum are part of the twig catfish family whiptails are either Hemiloricaria or Rineloricaria and a couple of other species, all farowella and Sturisoma are twigs and falsely named royal whiptails there are royal twig catfish which are Sturisoma panamense cheers Kyle
