  1. That's not the point. The point is having the freedom to choose.
  2. All the evidence is there but their minds are so closed it's astonishing. As http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHbYJfwFgOU, it's okay if people don't believe in it but just don't pass it on to the children.
  3. Fish imports would go up over 9000% in the first month of being elected :sml1:
  4. It's hard to change that way of thinking with the current laws though, how can something that's illegal possibly be good for you? Similar with young Earth creationists, they just won't listen.
  5. Exactly, in fact my Mum still thinks it kills brain cells  The thing is the drug stays relatively unchanged, the way it's viewed and used however changes constantly. Cocaine and heroine used to be popular painkillers among dentists, now they're illegal class A street drugs thanks to the way people used and abused them. The same can be said for alcohol, it's not what you drink it's how you drink.

I have dwarf sag on the right foreground near the corner, just two plants. The rest is pygmy chain sword 8)
  7. There's over a dozen states in the US that have legalized it for medical purposes, it won't stop there. Strongly agree, it's not going to affect me but it does reflect poorly on the human race as a whole.
  8. Shoulda called it dude  IMO it's only a matter of time before it comes legalised, just need some new blood in government. It's all about attitude really.
  9. THC is not chemically addictive, although it can be highly psychologically addictive like sugar.

Eeek that last photo really shows the sorry state of the moss  The stuff was dead before I tied it down but I was too lazy to sort it all out, the surviving moss is thriving though. What sword do I have Joe? I was told it's pygmy chain sword.

FTS with better colour as of yesterday afternoon. LHS. Starting to get a bit of algae on the old glosso leaves and a bit of brown algae on the glass, trying to keep the CO2 levels as high as safe to do so.
  12. Of course it has it's risks, most of those lie with the user though e.g DUI and psychological addiction. And once upon a time alcohol was prohibited too. All that did was make regular people into criminals and put big money into the hands of gangsters. Sound familiar?
  13. I agree. Never vacuum around the roots but any bare inert substrate can be vacuumed if you wish.

Nope but she told me all about them today. She's the reason I bought the fighter too :nilly:

What temperature is the tank at?
  16. Unless you can float them in another tank, it's best not to keep them in the dark for too long. Planting them as they arrive may be the best option for you. I'm keen to see this tank, I have a soft spot for fighters
  17. I think it's fair to say there is a strong argument supporting the legalisation of cannabis, the facts and statistics show that it's far less harmful than alcohol, tobacco and even coffee.

Thanks guys! 8) Apparently they should all colour up like the biggest bright one in the photo once they age a little and get settled in. I'm really happy with the way they shoal so hopefully they stay like that! Definitely need to double the numbers though, maybe triple :nilly:

So I popped in at Hollywood and got my very first occupants. 10 Ember Tetras and a Blue Male Plakat Betta who reminds me very much of my old one. Here's the photos of them getting settled in, will get a few more later. Next time I'll get another 10 Embers and a few Ottos.

    The What's Up? thread.

Bought 10 Ember tetras and a blue PK today, photos to follow in my AA thread 8)
  21. So you put water in it? I was the OPPOSITE and waited till I had the plants before filling it, each to their own though
