There is growth but no new leaves as of yet. I have a LOT of hacking back to do, there's still a ton of dead moss and leaves that have got to go. Damn algae magnets

I have a wee tank full of driftwood, I thought it was too cold for mozzy larvae Maybe I'll go move it into a sunnier spot!

Second week photo, the tank has been running for 14 days now and I'm very happy with the progress. Trimmed the hygro earlier this week, next I think the glosso will need a good cut back. Everything's growing, the Rotala and Hm took a while to settle in but now they're on their way up, the crypts are recovering, the hygro is of course going nuts, the glosso is taking over and the chain sword is sending out plenty of runners. Little bit of algae on the dying java fern leaves and some brown dust on the front glass and slow growing leaves but that's just the tank settling in. Bit of a tidy up with the water change tomorrow, figured out I can attach the hose to the mixer in the laundry so now more cold water changes.

All the more reason for stability. Just DIY it, don't bother with the Fluval so called "pressurised" system.

Basically I want something I can plug in and use safely, my knowledge of electricity and wiring is limited to positive, negative and earth. Ideally something that fits in an E27.

The regulator should fit directly on to bigger bottle systems without an adaptor. Talk to Godly about that one.

I agree with Li@m. You'll get sick of buying those stupidly expensive canisters that run out in about a week and the Nutrafin system isn't pressurised, it's just fancy DIY CO2 really. Sodastream system will run you up about $85 for the regulator, $40 for the adaptor and $30 max for the bottle. $12 bi monthly refills (depending on how much you use of course). What tank is this for?

I agree, it's easily the best and least biased documentaries out there. Simple, to the point and informative. I think it's unfair when people label someone who has tried cannabis a stoner, it's like calling anyone who has a drink an alcoholic.
