Sorry what? :-? I can tell I'll be wasting a lot less CO2, it just looks like I've properly carbonated the tank now :nilly:

Added two wavemakers and an inline CO2 diffuser today, did a partial water change, moved the lily pipes and tried to get at some algae. Here's a photo from the other night And I gave the CO2 a little go for a few seconds and it's been misting like this for well over 5mins now It's a fine, hazy, smokey effect that I'm not sure if I like yet :-?

I have two HW-302 canisters and they've been superb, large, quite and cheap!

It's green spot algae. It tends to grow on older, slow growing leaves.

If they're more than 12 months old then yes.

Mate you know they are :lol: Fish specific stores have a better selection, World of Water (if it's still around) had a good range. Stick with low light plants, Java fern, moss, anubias, but your plants aren't looking too bad, they certainly aren't dying.

I think you guys forgot to ask.. What plants are you trying to grow? I'm assuming it's stem plants, you should really be trying to grow Java Fern and moss in a tank like that.

In terms of aquascaping, it's a big no-no if you're doing a low, iwagumi style layout. Otherwise, it looks pretty cool viewed front on. Greg is great with tanks, what size? :spop:

An unregulated CO2 bottle can be VERY noisy

Spent the last two hours going to exchange my CO2 bottle, installing it, troubleshooting it, deafening myself with it and now it's finally on and working. Unfortunately it gave me a splitting headache
