My female Betta/Fighter has been attacked. She has had her fins ripped and bitten but those are starting to heal up nicely. I just noticed that she has a large amount of scales missing and it looks rather sore. What should I do about it? Do I remove her or try and find out who's picking on her. She seems to be swimming fine and doesn't seem unusual.

Nope, no fry lately
I bought some Platies and the male has been chasing one female so I'm hoping to get fry in the next month or so.
I don't think the BN's going to leave his eggs for anything, except if you pry him off them.

I have a piece of plastic corrogated real estate sign that used to be under the tank which I'm planning on using. I could put some plants on the back but my plants aren't doing too well at the moment.
Should I silicone the plastic sheet to the back or just use suction cups?
It might hold its self in though.

I don't really mind how it looks, I might try the Ice Cream containers or opaque plastic lids. Where can I get PVC sheets from?

I tried scraping off the backing with a razor blade and sandpaper but it was taking too long and had little effect. I need something to be stuck on the inside of the tank.

They are pretty good at eating each other though and have massive mouths and will eat any living thing that will fit in it.
So not so good to keep with fish?
What creatures can be kept in a paludarium?

I was planning on making a Paludarium and I wanted something small for the land part. How big do Golden Bell frogs grow?

i have southern bells ive never had ane problems with them eating fish ive had mountain minnows and goldfish in with them at various stages also axies in a large exo terra tank for ages without problems but i guess its trial and error
But can they go with Tropical fish?

The eggs are very tiny. If there are eggs in the nest, the male will be guarding it. Remove the female if he gets too aggressive towards her. According to gourami-breeding.co.uk, the eggs should hatch in 18-24 hours.

Should I...
A. Leave her
B. Hold off another spawn and use the tank for her (45x25x25)
C. Setup my brand new rearing tank and put her in that (85x40x25)
D. Move the (Fe)male out of the 2 footer and put her back in the community so this injured female can have her quiet tank
Any other ideas?
