Speaking of Budgies.... Does anyone have any babies that I could buy? Back to the newspaper... I've used it for mice and guinea pigs, they chew it all up and lived in it and they did wonderful. Should be fine for your bird.

I don't play GTA for the violence and shooting. I've got so many downloads and cracks that it's just a super fast driving game. I find it much more fun to get inside the game, see how it works and then mess it all up. Your Magpie looks pretty big Loopy, I wouldn't want to take that on, she'll be fine.

Also, I've got some new lids made to replace the ill fitting glass ones. They're 2mm acrylic, will the heat from a metal halide bulb melt that? And I'm going to divide up a tank into four sections, do I need to silicone the acrylic in or can I do it some other way?

Just when I though he was all better, he has a HUGE red streak on his fins, bigger than all of his previous streaks and dots combined. It's already eaten through some of his fin. Day one: I added 28 drops Day three: Did a 25% water change, added 1ml Day seven: Did a 50% water change Just as tonic instructed. Can I add some more? Or should I wait and get some Furan?

Started up a new culture today as the two old ones are dying. 2 parts Oatmeal/porridge, 1 part cornflour and alot of yeast. Added some warm/hot water and chucked it under a lightbulb this morning. Already starting to go up the sides.

My MH wouldn't be going on the 54L, planning it for the 27L. Are they quite peaceful fish? My Betta loves the afternoon sun.

I'm wanting to buy one baby budgie, just old enough to be eating by its self. Not too keen on yellows and greens, greys, whites and blues preferred but anyone will be considered. Must see pictures. May be willing to ship but pick up would be better. Thanks

I'm looking at getting a Metal Halide system to grow high light plants and wondering how I'd put it all together. It's a second hand unit, once used in a workshop and comes with a power supply (I'm guessing that's the Ballast) and the lights. No plug to mains though. I was thinking of mounting the light in a hood, having a couple of mirrors as reflectors and having a cold air intake fan at the front and a warm air outtake fan at the back. Then I'd like to run the Ballast underneath the aquarium and finally plug it into mains power. Question 1: How would I attach a plug (extension lead)? Question 2: How would I run the two fans? Question 3: What should I make the hood out of? Thanks.

I disagree. Only people who have a violent personality will do this, not nice kids playing violent games. If it's in you, then video games may bring it out. I play GTA VC but that hasn't made me any more violent, I'm still disgusted by this incident.
