  1. Must be more common overseas then :-? How did you keep yours BTW?
  2. I'm assuming that's a question. If so, tail biting (as opposed to fin nipping) is a common condition amongst bored, cramped and/or frustrated Betta splendens with long tails. They often do it because they are bored or their tail is hindering their ability to swim/function properly. HTH
  3. Tail bitting should look more like square chunks out of the tail rather than fin rot.
  4. What does it look like? Pics? Could be tail biting?
  5. Wow, that's crazy. You're fish are very nice so I'm not surprised people want them. I've been to your setup once, a mission and a half just getting in there  I don't know how burglars would do it? :-? Sorry for your losses
  6. LOL Thanks Jen It got weird again for a moment :-?
  7. Even though you have two computers, a monitor and a laptop on the ground in front of you, House is on and you're trying to fix the router, you still make the time to post here.
  8. Thanks, I'll try and find some. Must have a bit lying around somewhere
  9. That's a good idea, we don't have a plane(?)/planer(??) though. What else can we use to take off 1mm? Thanks
  10. They prefer a pH under 7. Around 6.0-6.5 is good. Use Indian Almond leaves to condition them, try not to mess with the pH too much. Mine breed fine in tap water around here, usually 7.5-8.0.
