The label is very much correct. Wet area silicon may have some un wanted chemicals that will harm your fish. I'm sure you don't want to wake up one morning to find a few floaters. Use glass silicon. Much more suitable for tanks and non harmful to your fish.

Don't worry if it's not a huge amount, it won't harm the fish. And if it's pretty much made the water go yellow-ish, still no harm done. Most fish love the it and can sometimes make a fish more colourful. Although the water may fade slightly as the filter might clean it up a bit. Or depending on how messy your fish are, I'd say it might get a bit darker. I did the same thing, except I got my drift wood from the beach. So many interesting pieces there but a much longer process before putting them in the tank.

I actually want to put sand in my up coming project of starting up my own community tank. Cleaning it is easy and much quicker to maintain than gravel or stones, I have found. So yes! You can put it in your tank. Many fish experts around the globe do it. Just be sure before you do put the sand in your tank that you actually like it like that. Not only for appearance but for fish comfort. Like many others have stated, be sure to clean it well before hand and you won't need to boil it. Saltwater would have killed anything nasty.

A friend of mine has a cat who eats her clothes. She can't leave anything on the floor otherwise you'll find holes or chunks everywhere. Weird little thing it is. But I actually have a question.. Do you think spading a male kitten would make him less active when it comes to marking his territory? He seems to have a "bladder" problem and does it in his bed, our bed or anything left on the ground...

It's reached here already. I had to cancel my trip to the Americarna today. I wasn't really looking forward to getting a cold from walking in the rain all day. Especially when the good part of the show is outdoors.

Beautiful lizard. We were looking at one at one of the pet shops in New Plymouth. He's such a lovely little man. Makes me want to safe up the money and buy him straight away. I found it quite amazing that they only go toilet once a day.

My partner's tropical fish love cucumber. He just drops a slice in there, it floats on the top and they all go for it. It was gone within less than a week.

Sounds like that could be the case. Today I decided to change my set up in the tank with a hollow piece of drift wood. The fish seem to love the hiding places. Hehe. On second note, I was very pleased to find out that one of the danios is female as she has a eggy belly.
