Nothing is in the tank and the plant is just oxygen weed. Was going to get a couple of lillies out but figured the roots are to big. I Want to set it up to get a couple of kribs.

Can I get plants out my pond and put them in my tropical tank and would there be a way of killing the snail eggs before putting them in?

You could use daphnia and put them in a live bearer trap then they dont all get eaten at once, they just escape out the holes I done it in a guppy tank and it worked. -
Thanks I just thought about it and they have been together for 9 months with out any problems. Just seems a bit strange that he was swimming around then an hour later I see a head floating.

Over the past few weeks my fighter is chasing every fish in his tank. Last night I found a neons head floating could it be him that killed it? everything in the tank seems healthy. The neon was the smallest of the 6 and had a bent spine but seemed to be doing fine.

Thanks , I have no fry from them yet as got them small not to long ago so only have 1 half blue half orange male with a greenish head, So it could turn back blue? its fin at the back is orange with blue at tip and blue top fin, it isnt full grown yet.

I got new guppys as a pure strain but 1 male changed from blue to orange, he is the only male in the tank so will all the fry be like him because it looks quite good?. It is the same shape and pattern as the blue tuxedo but has orange tail. But would people not want them because there not the actual pure strain?

Ok thanks will give hutt pets a go. Been to the fish shop in levin but was disgusting when I whent. Does anyone know if the one in Sanson is still running.

Hi tank is 90 x 40 x 40 I think thats 144 liters. The fire mouths I have seen for sale seem to be very pale.

Can someone please tell me what size tank I need to house them read somwhere that 2 feet is big enough and others say 4 foot. I have a 3 foot unused one and would like to get a couple. I did have convicts but sold them and want to try something new.
