its not my fish i went back to work today and a customer said there 25cm goldfish has dropsy and i floating at top of tank (its now in a 40l tank)they tryed funan2,meth blue,melafix,tonic and salts nothing is working any ideas i can pass on would be great

your very lucky and now i bet you will NEVER do that again,leson learned good that no one was killed well try to relax this weekend and have a good xmas, it was a happy ending in the end(your alive)

oh he is still nameless my partner wants to call him felix i like that name but not for him, any ideas he is cream with black stripy tail and ice blue eyes and faint darker cream spots(like a leopard)and dark cream on feet and nose and ears

Sorry no photos yet i have lost my camera at the weekend but should get one for xmas (from insurance company) kitten from local breeder and he got one boy left ive got to say this little guys is the best kitten he is getting used to the dogs and has settled in fantastic we are all so happy with him and is health is perfect oh he love to be up high like sleeping on your shoulder ill put photos on when i can

yeh mine were sent via courier bag in a vented plastic jar and older one in a vented box i got the baby one the day it was sent but the older one stayed a night at the post office and boy did i worry iv seen pet couriers advertised they will drive up and down country but i dont no if they take reptiles

i finally named my beardie its name is Iris which is greek for rainbow (need a name for the kitten)

Hi everyone i have just had a bengal kitten dropped off by the breeder(its a snow one) the breeder bathed it and put talc on it to smell nice(i dont like smell) anyway its eyelids are a bit red i thought it might be from talc but someone told me that it could be feline herpes(this person had two cats from this breeder that had herpes) does anyone else know much about this, is it life threatening ill take to vet and get checked out vacs micro etc or do u think it could be talc?

iv used tanks like that and been okay with some but others did get a slow crack forming,so better safe than sorry and maybe take the glass off and reseal a new one on

yeh i love looking at the colours coming throu(not that its got much at the moment but there just grate to stair at) it was doing lots of arm waving today(cute) tryed to get photo but stopped when picked the camera up

its normal for flies in my house and i only got one child and the dogs and other floffy animals live outside only fish and reptiles inside oh and insect for reps but i keep them in a cupboard so if we use flie spray they dont die too(or posion the reps)i spray and nighttime when there still but there is always more by the next afternoon :evil: when i lived on a farm we had NO flies at all and EVERY animal came in to house and one point even the horse put there heads in the window but we did have a fantail called baz that visted all the time so i guess he got them before we noticed
