    I finally made up my mind to redo my tank - I am just curious what else I can plant? is there any aquatic plan like the marigold I can plant in the foreground?

    i bought some liquid fertiliser from trademe... it's growing ok.. just all those block dots on the older leaves (all the newly grown leaves are fine)

    i want to do it to my rio 300.. it's really annoying that the filter box is attached to the tank.. i don't mind about warranty that much... hey ! do you still have that knife you used to remove the box? Can I borrow it off you?????

    well.. it won't be very heavily planted i guess.. first time trying to do aqua scaping... http://www.aquascapingworld.com/forum/g ... capes.html well I don't think my tank will ever look at that.. but some background tall plants and some hair grass...

    I am going to upgrade my freshwater tank and I am just wondering whether it worths the extra dollars (well a lot of $$$$) to get Seachem Black sand? Or will the normal fine black sand do job? Alternatively, should I get half normal black sand and top with Seachem Black sand? Thanks !

    omg !! I wish mine will grow as if there's no tomorrow !!!!! they have been like this for over a year and just wouldn't grow taller :( :(

    I have around 20 fishes and a few guppy babies. I got aqua clear 70 filter before and now I am on the 30...... Too big or to little?

    0.25 for the ammonia, the tank has been cycled for a month before adding the fish....

    Tested the water, zero nitrite and nitrate, and slightly high on ammonia... However, it does look like it may be a positive correlation between aqua fun day and fish death...... I will take a pic of tank tomorrow, 130 L only

    Sigh....I never have any luck with animates so far .... How's your tank going?

    Any idea? I bought all of them from the animates aqua fun day ( half price!) and they pretty much all died after 3 weeks in the tank...... No problem with water condition all... Any idea why?? I am soooooooo sad...picking up fish body every day after work is depressing.....

    They are growing towards the back and left hand side where natural light comes in... I have now blocked the light and see how it goes.

    I have called this place - http://www.wises.co.nz/p/pressure-check ... ting/nzf5/ before and it costs around $200.00 for the cylinder (3kg) and $10.00 to refill... perhaps you can bring in your cylinder to that place to do a pressure check?!
