    I wonder

I know of around 3 that aren't part of the killie club 1 of them used to be a member.
  2. I think stone and water world have a website you can visit
  3. Hi Sorcha Yes they will interbreed. I personally would not put them in your 5ft tank as they would get lost. so best thing to do is to get only 1 pair. If you want to breed them then you will be better off getting a smaller tank of around 10 litres in size with a tight fitting lid. If you want cheaper killies you will need to join the New Zealand Killiefish Association. However the ones on trademe are a good price. PM Alan if you want to join. There are a few of us killiephiles here all the time. We are more than happy to help out a newbie killie keeper

    pond questions

I half sunk my bathtub and then used keystone blocks to surround it. Wife doesn't mind it now  I however did dig a little more under the tub so I can pull the plug and drain the water if necessary.
  5. Stone and water world should be able to help you out. They have everything that a pond builder needs including sealing paint
  6. Take the carbon out You only need it to get meds out. None of my tanks use carbon anymore
  7. Don't intent to by larger tetras to try it out. Could try some juvenile convicts though  Let the chocolate hounds hunt them down
  8. Freshwater Less expensive Also you won't have the reefers on your back
  9. just be careful when you add in the smaller fish. Chucked in 5 wcmm in with my chocolates. Chocolates really appreciated the wcmm... they were chomped in matter of seconds.

    pond questions

Welcome Amy Ponds can get quite expensive depending on what size you want. I use Bathtubs instead of a purpose made pond. works for me and I do have WCMM in with them.. only a few though. Yes plants definietly help with filtration. To pretty up a bathtub you can get keystone blocks to put around the bathtub to make it look like a pond. Caryl is our resident Pond Expert so she will also give you some pointers
