    most apistos are expensive. steel blues are cheap cause everyone has bred them flags are usually like $5-10 off a breeder. $15 in a shop.

    Yea, don't take it personally. its not you really. its me.

    bummer. it is fixable but you'll have to be more careful from now on. electricity and water mix far too well. Unplug the filter, cut the wire cleanly, join the wire together properly and use heat shrink wrap to seal it. if in doubt get someone who knows what to do to fix it. do not take a chance. are you sure that's the problem though?
