I feel that way every now and again with mine, and then bugger round with the rockwork and its never as good as it was before. I've learnt just to leave it alone now. That feeling will go away
Wow thats cool!!!
How long did it take you to glue all the rocks together? And did u do that all before it went into the tank or intank piece by piece? It looks awesome!
Kinda hard to tell from the photo, but I'm fairly certain most euphyllias have a good regeneration rate. My torch coral when I first got it received a bit of a hiding during transit and quite a few of the tenticles "blew out" and it stayed quite shrunk up for a few days, but it came right within that first week.
Just keep an eye on it and report any changes in this topic
My old Blenny hitch hiked from my main tank into a storage bucket for my liverock while I was doing a rescape. I panicked because I couldn't find him in the main tank.
Apart from that, the only other hitch hikers that i've seen are a Limpit
And a coralline algae coloured Chiton
Not my pics BTW
To be honest, I've NEVER managed to find one despite hours of looking (Must be looking in the wrong places?)
Also, as I found with snails, I dont believe they survive long in the heated water of a reef tank
Rumours floating round say these will be available in NZ again in the near future
Can anyone confirm or deny?
I'd love to have a few (and I'm sure i'm not the only one!)
I'm heading into Organism on Saturday with Wilsons Bubble if you want me to bring the Torch aswel Jolliolli?
I started dosing vodka, but gave up after it appeared to get worse. Maybe worth trying again?
Just thinking about it, could the sponge that i've got in the tank "catching pods" be causing any problems?
I was going to take it out after 2 weeks but haven't got round to getting the rearing tank setup so its been in there for about 4 LOL
