hi i after some help on how to set up my oscar tank i got a 4ft tank and now thanks to janey a 4 ft ligth but not to sure what i can put in it as i been tolled not plants and news a steal heater or a cover over the glass ones but what is the better stuff to put on the bottom of the tank and what can i put in it or ???? bikiegirl who got oscar out there to i find out to day mine r golden tiger oscar i think that spell right.

it look like a hole and getting bigger and it a little red in color and it looks like it fluffy on the out side of the hole but she is still eatting no fungus

hi I lost two more today a danio and my peppered cat I did what caryl said to do last night in chat change the water with tap water and the fish where sick r looking better thanks god for that as my pink lady (bettafemales )was one of the sick ones she and her tank mates r looking good ty caryl and the fish in my show tank looking better to I think I stay with tap water for now as it working good ty caryl I had the water tested today and it ok for the tanks and for the bucket ive got 4 I news only for fish water changes and there r keep in the stand under the tanks I also news I 40lt drum that I get my water from my dad as he live in Thames and keeps fish for about 14yrs now and who help me start out with fish and that the water he news in his tanks with np. o yep I noted the danio had red lines in it body to when I take it out after it had died also see that the only danios have got the same red line on them to may this be some thing to with the water I did a water test again today and all is ok nothing worry there ive been thinking about do a full tank clean in all the tanks one I find out what doing it or I may do it in the next two or three day if I lost more fish ty u all for ur help ur all so great ty .

hi fishy lover i need some help i did a water change last night and when i got up in the morring i find 6 of my fish have died , a paradise fish ,2 neons and 3 guppys all in diff tanks and now as i was talking in chat my son notes aonther one had died my red devil (male betta) and i all so got 4 that r look very sick that i put in a new tank my pink lady (female betta) and peppered cat and two danios i did all the water test and all is ok i did the same water change i do each time i change to water i all so add stress coat the each tank after each water change and now i lost 7 fish im worry im going to lost them all i hope some can help me plz the sick fish r at the top of the tank and laying on there sides there breathing is a little fast but so is the ones is the ones in the onthere tanks the tank i got them in now is a 40lt with two oxygen bubble stones and one wool filter in there not stones or plants and i all so put stress coat in the to hopeing it helps them

hi guys i keep mine in one for about 2 weeks some time 3 depen on the the fish if it the frist tiem she been in one not to long but guppys will drop each 28 to 30 days depen on the temp of the water and i do not think i will matter how long u can keep them in one ive got some that do not can out of a trap as there r my breeds and i news a 5 way trap so there get room to swim untill there drop hop this help. bikiegirl

hi myts nice to meet u, is ur guppy in a tank by her self or with fish as some fish love baby fry and will eat them as fast as she has them . do u kown if she been in a tank with males a female guppy drop her fry around 28- 40 days depenson the water temp a male has a gonopodium and is brightly colored and is small then the female , the female are a dull grey or bluish color some females show color in there fins. hope this help . bikiegirl

hi I will love to breed from her but I kown nothing about them at all its all new to me and I think I will need to find a betta about the same color so I can get the pink color of her if im right or do it not matter what color I put with her. cool yep she got spots but not sure if it what u are going on about and if some one out there kown of a site that can here me with the breeding thing that wood be great. bikiegirl

hi what meat do guppys eat as we had lamb fry for tea tonight and i was thinking i try it on the guppy as i know some fish do eat meat and dam there went nuts on it my son hand feed it to them lol so if u can help me here it wood be great ty

onces there drop i news the males again on the daughters of that drop or one of the male closes to the color the father from the frist drop but the colors are spot on in the females the male i news is a king cobra and a red delta , when i get to meny guppys r ones with not color i feed them to my sons walking fish . :lol: i got both my 30lt tank setting side by side and just witching them seeing the females is funny and all the males seat to one end of the tank going goofy and nice to meet u suemack

i got a 70lt baywindow tank as my show tank and thats where all my older guppys go or the ones i do not need now and i got 2x30lts for the females and males ( not that a got some males lol )but when i breed i news a 5 way breeder trap and take the bit out so it bigger for them and i put my male and 4 of the female in it for 3 weeks and then i take the male out so the females can drop in there so i do not need a lot of tanks u can try that it seem to work out good for me as i not got a lot of room here for tanks . bikiegirl

hi yep i worn gloves as i get a skin irritation(spelling) for the stress coat i put in the tanks. i also worn them when i hand feed my fish (angles)

So how many tanks do you have and whats in them? i have 600x300x300 tropical 3 marble angelfish 2 placo 9 guppys 1 peppered catfish 600x300x300 cold water (my girls ) 15 guppys 2 paradise fish 2 gold barbs 2 zebra danios 2 white clouds 4 leopard fish , 4 leopard ,danios 30lt tank 2 axolotis ( my sons) 30lt tank is about 70 or so guppy fry and a 6 foot tank i just cracked trying to clean out it had 4 cichild (not sure what there r) in it but r now in a 55lt tank

hi yep u can keep them i cold water tank as i got 15 3 males and 12 females in one and breeding nicely in there but i keep them in a warm room like my livingroom as the frie go 24-7 in there in the winterand the tank stays about 10-13c so far i got king cobras out of them and some red delta and multi delta i all so got hot water guppys that im working on now to . hope this helps u cheers bikiegirl
