i got three in my main tank and i got 12 setting on the tank in this weather there stay warm and in cold weather i just put them in a heated room or use breeding traps to hold them in the tanks like the 4 way fighter traps and have them on the back of the tanks , cheers bg

(I would have a go with the egg yolk one, just a small pinch of yolk, in about a litre of water. shake it all up and only add a drop 3-4 times a day. keep the bottle in the fridge and shake before each use. but keep up with the daily+ waterchanges) hi i did think u change the water until there about a mth old mine are going on there 8th day now and ive been feeding them on some powdered stuff for betta fry not sure what it called i think its jbl novotom artemia powder if that helps cheers bg

i did think of egg yolk but as it pollute the water quite i didnt use it and im in pokeno if that helps and the fry are now at day 7 free swimming cheers bg

what can i feed my fry as i ordered micoworms and there still not here i went in to fish shop and got some liquifry for egg layers , im hopping that be ok for them until the micoworms get here ,witch im not sure there will as it now been 2 weeks and there still not here , if u think of something or if the stuff i got is not good for them can u let me know plz ,as this is my first spawn for me so im new at this breeding bettas but not new to tropical fish cheers bg

hi all im back and i got my tanks up and running im doing the Betta thing now and angles just had my first lot of egg hatch 2 days ago and dad(crown tail) still got his eye on them what a good little man he is lol will hope to catch up with u all soon cheers

is about to try it again with same male diff female and this is the first time for my partner with breeding tropical fish (having them) (betta) if can will take pic of her fish so u can see them . ps there is 3 fry now woohoo

will on a close look on the tank before cleaning it my partner find 2 fry alive in the tank so we so got 2 fry woohoo

(they could of also starved as they generally can't eat bbs untill they are quite bigger, as they are very tiny when they hatch) what is the best thing to feed them on if bbs are to big . (There could have been something in the water (e.g chlorine) that could have affected them, or the water could have stressed them in some way (too cold or too hot)...) we are on spring water here no chlorine e.g in the water and tank was watched very closely on temp .

hi all got our Betta's to spawn and we got fry there 7 days old but on waking up we find them all died not sure why this is we water changed them and was feeding them on micro worm and baby shrimp .
