  2. yes there are many species that can be imported and not survive in our environment sadly they all need a health standard developing many people are passionate about wanting to keep them but no-one is committed enough to spend the time or money to do the health standards
  3. one could say it is dumb to put a cat and dog in the same house used to have a baboon and tiger that lived in the same caravan
  4. different strokes for different folks know of a few lizards that have a bit of freedom in the house, get on with cats and dogs the only stress is usually on the part of the cat

  10. the tank was put there by the owners to create a bit of ambience in the restaurant and quite possibly a tropical marine was selected to create the "wow factor" obviously the original posters dining experience was less than expected owing to his understanding of what a marine tank should be sad to see a restaurant and a very public owner that prides himself on the finer details of dining out let this slip maybe he is too busy with other commitments or just doesn't know how a marine tank should be run
