i think it is just the one type in marine. -
i always pour boiling water over wood before i put it in the tank just to be on the safe side

caryl that blue thing looks like it is the handle of a sword if you look closely it looks like a silver blade below it -

I Just checked on it it was only 1 out of 5 discus and heaps of other fish in the tank that had it. i looks fine now I dont think it was white spot it didn't look like it. -

no i am just setting it up on one of my tanks and 2 days after i set it up one of my discus got a few tiny white dots on its side with sort of a stringy spiderweb type thing Just wondering -
can the diy sugar yeast mix C02 cause any problems in the tank??

did you move any plants across etc.... same net in both tubs?? That is the only way i can think of :-?

Ours had 3 pups (last 2 times she had 5) yesterday they are about the size of mice :lol:

how about a couple of guppies wouldn't try anything else I personally wouldn't put any fish in a tank that size (except for 24hrs for breeding)

how much noise do they make? bunnings do a (i think) gmc for $100 approx i think it has an out put of 1400w (im not 100% sure as i just glanced at htem as i walked past a few weeks ago) :lol: :lol:

Andrew_W i think that you have hair algae see this (pics near bottom) http://www.aquariumalgae.blogspot.com/ I think it might be because i have 300w of light with no C02 or flourish excel etc.... i might try and add some CO2
