Where are the best places to get driftwood in chch i am wanting to get a decent size bit (over 2ft long)
when you get them from beaches how do you make them safe for the tank
Thanks
I am setting up a 1350 (L) x 600 (W) x 500 (H) planted tank and just wondering if 2 x 150 watt Metal Halides would be ok or would they be too much
Tank is going to have
Discus
Rams
Neons
GBA's
Cory's
SAE's
possibly clown loaches
And lots of plants
Will try and get a pic its not Dropsey scales are fine but they just have this stuff on them all the other fish are fine in the tank just the 2 tinfoil barbs.
they did not seem that interested in food where as normally the go crazy.
will try a photo now.
i have 2 tinfoil barbs they are both approx 25cm long i was just out in the fishroom feeding the fish and saw "things" on them
Its hard to explain what it is but its kind of like flaky skin all over them.
I have no idea what it is
thanks
i just worked out why our powerbill is $420 - $440 per month
if it works out the same we have 2 3400w nightstore heaters that run for 8 hours each night,
so that means they each cost $91 per month
Does that sound right???
Yes they are, thank you
thought they were peat spawners by the shape of them
Kind of you sent me a thing on how to breed them so that should help a lot and the June Nzka newsletter will help.
Thanks again guys
Id just like to say thank you to
Johannes Visser - for Holding on to a breeding group and fry of Sciaenochromis Fryeri
Barrie - For giving me 2 pair Fundulopanchax Scheeli. 2 pair Chromaphyosemion bitaeniatum and 5 others which i will have to ask what they are
Navarre - For bringing the fish down for me from Auckland which included numerous scans and having to unpack all of the fish at the airport.
THANK YOU AGAIN
Cheers
Chris
