  1. remove and place in another tank with airstone and do small daily water changes (using water from main tank). eggs will hatch from 48hours-4days
  2. if you want to raise the ph naturally you can use limestone rock, its only recommened for malawis tho
  3. calcium carbonate increases the ph, and might increase the water hardness i think,
  4. iv had fry survive inside a filter lol
  5. some are probly un fertilised

  7. did you spill some sort of chemical that may have ended up in the tank?? what sort of food to you feed them??
  8. dont bother with the plants, itl be one big ugly mess of plants
  9. have your filter as high as possible to put them off aswell

  12. is there any chlorine/chloramine?? town water or farm water isnt good for fish
  13. or you could just take some water from an established tank like 20%
  14. some fish get stressed out more than others, alot of fish can change there colours depending on there mood. and it is possible that you bought a sick fish (doesnt hurt to take it back and get a new one)
  15. is there bogwood in the tank and aeration in the tank is always good
  16. I have got poop loads of them in all our ponds
  17. also if there brand new then they'll hum for the 1st week or so, i bought 2 of the 103'fs for my 450L tank and there pretty silent now, and the flow slows down a tiny bit when there worn in so dont be put off by the strong current at first
  18. take of the air thing and buy an airstone and small pump.
  19. add more than one female and you'l be fine
  20. just place a sheet of glass over top with silcone (good as new), aslong as the crack doesnt go from one end to the other
  21. fine for all, except the tiger barbs may nip the severums (Mine do sometimes)
  22. if its only like 2mm long then its its bits, if its longer it could be poop, depends on what colour food your feeding it
  23. some types of anglefish dont have red eyes and some do i.e striped
