My Chocolates have eggs , and being good parents nothing can get near them 8) , should i remove eggs or see what happens ?

what is a defination of a breeding pair ? if fish are doing the deed so to speak ,but havent reared fry .as are in a community tank ,but have been doing what they are supposed to ,could they be sold as a breeding pair
