at present tank is 4 foot ,with cat litter tray pond Dragon is still fairly young 2nd year , 14 - 15 inch approx , planted out with a few pot plants and branches will be upgrading beginning of next year to a large mesh enclosure 8)

yes you usually dont see them far from water in the wild , they also toilet in the water ,and if they feel threatened they will dive and can stay underwater for a while
