  10. I am currently breeding Melanotaenia praecox (dwarf neon 'bows) Im am doing it exactly as caserole stated, and I agree with the statement that spawning is easy, and raising fry is not so easy. temp is about 26-27 degrees and water changes are done with cold water which makes the go nuts and spawn due to the small size of the fry they need microscopic foods. I use green water, liquifry #1 , micro worms, and keep adult daphnia in with the fry. The bigger fry feed on the newly hatched daphnia. The fry grow very slowly

Whose got what?? These have become a facination of mine although Im only keeping and breeding Dwarf neon Rainbows. Looking at getting some threadfins to try breed. Just want to know who else keeps them and what types. Pics would be awesome but I know how hard they are to snap as they are like torpedos and never stay still.

  21. Yeah, Its definately a Bacopa. But I dont think its a true monnieri, as the leaves look different to most ive seen on google and the flower is smaller. Also the pic you posted Andrew, has a different flower stem.but similar flowers. The plant has more flowers now ,(that pic was taken a few days ago) and none are growing like that pic. Just same as my first pic.
  22. Thats gonna be a neat looking tank once it matures. Discus will look great in there. Are you using Pupukes display tank as an inspiration.( I love that tank and alway make a point of stopping in to check it out when Im up that way) The brown algae will disapear once the tank stabilizes. The joys of living in Auckland. You guys get all the bargins from TM
