i bought a small poly box back from Nav in chch to auckland when i was last doen there, i just put it in my carry on bay & no issues but i think that couriering it is far easier. they still have to be packed the same it's just less delivery time taking them yourself which isn't an issue if you get the package delivered the next day.

i have had various africans that did that but they were all juvies at the time, i put it down to temprement rather than anything to worry about.

& they get "pailer" as they get older.

they don't. a hen is freighted to the farm ready to, or already laying from the hatchery. when they finish their first cycle of laying they are killed & a new batch come in. thats it, nothing more than one season of lay from each bird except for the few i & other get for hens at our houses.
