  6. so a 1200 long by 600 wide should be ok for 2 ? or should i make it a bit longer? and wider?
  7. lol i asked what size they will need when they're older, well that's what i ment lol im kean to build another tank not as big as the water dragon one tho lol haha i think the water dragons would be a bit angry with me if i moved them outa ther new home lol and put them in a smaller one

  10. 1800length x 700-900 width is ideal mines only 6foot by 2 by 2 ,and my aros over 2 foot but silvers turn real tight so all good for now im planing on an upgrade tho
  11. havent been keepn up ay lol umm just start with a 15cm one which ull probly find is the standard size at the shops they grow very fast foot long in 4-5months ,ur tank will still be ok for awile being 50cm wide so no probs after that upgrade and should be sweet 8)
  12. just his opinion i guess? im just going on past experinces and its worked for me lol and should work for you too
  13. yep for sure ,you have 4-5months tho i rekon till ull have to upgrade and just make sure your oscars aint to big to be bullys
  14. so anyone u kno got one with no drop eye? every aro ive owned has only got drop eye in one lol but meh ive always liked keep a comunity of large fish
  15. have you had a aro befor? i tryd 2 years ago growing one out on its own to prevent drop eye, feed it floating pellets and floted a couple pingpong balls aswell to keep him lookn up once he hit a foot in length he got drop eye , so yea...
  16. i got a aro with 2 oscars and they are a perfect match just gota make sure the aro is the right length compared to the oscar and ull be sweet theres nothing wrong with putting other fish in with aros as there gona get drop eye eventuly anyway , theres a handfull without it out ther. so id say oscars are a great mix, theres alot of fish that mix aros breed during certain seasons so there will be patches where there no availble like now, when they do come there usuly 10-15cm how bigs your oscars now? 4foot tank will be fine for a few months and are perfect for growing out, put a baby in a large tank and its harder for them to find food ,and food is what you wana give them plenty of at that stage. feeding heavy means you wana do regular water changes so again easyr to do on a 4 foot during the first few months of growth. just make sure u hav a good filter  aslong as ur sure ull get a 6 foot ,id say go for it and grow it out in a 4foot and keep the oscars its a mean mix 8)
