how heavy should these things end up with concrete on them? ive started one 150x60 and its quite heavy now..

i got mine from anzack bay in waihi, low tide at night with a spotlight and net. alsorts ther smooth pipe fish, seahorses, scorpion fish , stargazers, leather jackets, moki ect

anyone keeping cold water marine tanks with photos arround , i wouldnt mind setting up my 3ft by 5ft tank up but would like to see others tanks to get some idears, and what fish people are keping, do we have any other typs of crustation other than crabs and crafish out in our reefs any suggestions welcome for cold water marine

hi just woundering what you feed it, we have these flounder in or river as well but what do they eat before i go catch me one

nice sea horses. i found some last weekend in waihi, but let them go as i didnt have anything set up, what i also found were some smoth sea dragons they looked quit cool so next mission is to build a nice deep tank for some of them and the likes. just woundering where i could find the sea weed fish or do i just need to look harder. (arround waihi)

Why does the sea grass have to be submerged all the time just woundering

hi just woundering if you can keep sea grass in a tank or anything else like kelp and stuff like that. if so what sort of light do they require , newtrents ect.... i got a 1000 ltr tank set up as a fiish only tank (cold marine) with a couple of sweep, 2 goat fish, 1 spotty, 1 common triplefin, and a fish that looks kinda like a trev but its sumthing else just cant rember the name any help would be cool

2-3 groups of inanga not shure what they were exactly, mosqito fish , bullys 1 eel and thats in the middle of the day to. at night we usually see alot more, i like just looking its quite interesting . there is alot of kura in that streem aswell, but all the streems arround here a quite plentifull in aquatic life. execpt one that has mine tailingsseeping into it. beyound that its ok

yea looks alot like that . dont know if i wana go swimming in that creak anymore . does anyone know if they would infect inanga or other fish species cos that is what i was looking at, at the time of finding this thing

na no name its about 35-40cm long and about 3-4mm wide , my old man thought it mita been in an animal that had been gutted up streem but hes not shure what it is ither.

does anybody know what this thing is i was just being nosey having a smoke when i saw this thing swimming arround so i thought id catch it and take a couple of photos of it. it has a harliquin look to it when its in the sun out of the water and scaly look and feel it swims from the small end so i take it thats the head end anyone know what it is. my wife suggested it was some sort of intestonal worm , i wouldnt have the foggest any suggestions ther are a couple more pics on here. http://s112.photobucket.com/albums/n174/sas137/

are tigers knowen for jumping ota tanks at all, so could i get away without any lids on my tank.

yea i paid about 35 40$ for mine and it ate what ever it saw the fish eating, blood worms, meat,pork, hikari canovore food sticks, what ever my tiger dats ate plus sum

i get them as food snacks for my trigger and miniatus grouper but the ones that fall down the overflows have been there for six months or so. but they do thin eachother out ive watched for hours the realy big ones trying to catch the small one and they are pritty good at cleaning up food scraps. you can get a fresh water glass shrimp though not shour of its proper name, i was getting them for my jags to snack on
