HaHa some people still have to go to work at 0330 in the morn I have been keeping arrows and other big tropicals for about 8yrs nw and would like a change. i also keep tropic marines but would like something different. as ive finaly got rid of the fresh water tropical fish big and small. i would only like my 2 1000ltr tanks runing .

  3. yea na i wasnt talking about browns or rainbows, yes our native species. the tank sits arround 18deg this time of year. would prefer giant kokapu over banded ,but how soon can you tell the diff between the different species , as in age i dont wana sound to dumb just wana make shure i get all the info
  4. just sum simple Qs i got a 900ltr tank and would like to try some natives i wouldnt mind getting my hands on a giant bully, but where? i havent been able to find any arround my part of the woods. (TeAroha) plenty of enunga and smaller bullys and kura. how many kokapu would be able to be housed in a tank that size and coul you keep the smaller native trout with the larger giant kokapu

    moray eels

    does anyone have any tropical morays in nz, or have they ever been inported. i know we can get ribbon eels but not realy big and scary enough for me. the other thing is would a nz species tollerate tropical temps as would realy like one, any sugestion welcome

  8. yea i got a tank 200x80x60 and am running 1 fx5 by its self and had no probs. 1 silver arro, 1 ggourami, 1 red devil ,2 blue acara, 2 firemouths, 1 jack d, 2 plecs great at filtering.
  9. hay cool as and i agree i wouyldnt spend all that time just to sell the parents. hay big homes and right conditions is what im all about i hat seeing fish in a to smaller aquarium if i hade my way id have big ponds that'ill have to wait till i own my own home.
  10. cool thanks alot, ill keep you in mind. ther is a female about 18cm but the person want 50 for her and i thought that was a little steap but hay all good.
