If you haven't already, double check the required drill hole size for the 40mm fitting because its quite a bit bigger, by getting one or asking

1x 250W for 7 hours at the moment until my rock mature or get some high light demand corals.

yeah it full now. Just letting it settle down a bit and get the rock cranking again. Got a couple of test subjects in there today and putting my fish batch of fish in next week. Still got to get some decent aquascaping done and soundproofing my cabinet :lol: :lol: Chuck a couple of pics up if I find a camera lying around

ah you seem to be confused by the purpose of these so called closed loops. They are not to move water from one tank to another but mearly to add more flow in the tank, think of them as an external powerhead. Your return pump (in your sump) should be plumbed as you suggested, up the back of the tank and over sitting just under the water line so it doesn't siphon your tank in the event of a power failure.
