    New Tank!

    Looking Fantastic :bounce:
  10. Got this link from reef central http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/clownf ... australia/
  11. http://www.karensroseanemones.com/index.htm Have a read here and see if there is anything she mentions that may help you.
  12. another trick I have read with anemones is to put a flower pot (those red/brown clay ones) in the tank on its side and position the anemone inside and see what happens.
  13. From the reading I have been doing at a few forums concerning anemones, you readlly don't have a choice on where your anemone will make his home. My bubbletip will stick to the rock (only had it for just over a week), but it has usually moved within a day or stay. His spot right now is arround the back where it can heal and he still gets enough light from the MH been there for 4 days now. If it won't stick to a rock even for a very short period of time you will probly find there something wrong with it.
  14. My New Bubbletip decided to go walkabout  Decided he didnt like the heater where it was and gave it a few punches  The heater Won the first round Got a bit worried about the anemone, kept checking the tank a few times a day for that rotten smell, but after 5 days the Anemone is bouncing back. Hopefully for good  .
  15. I was wondering why it was pretty quiet in here lately. Welsome back to anyone who has been away :bounce:
  16. My Lawnmower looked similar to that for a short period of time. When I had the Black Surgeon, It was chasing the lawnmower and he stayed partially hidden in the rocks (only his head and upper body were coloured). Once I got rid of the surgeon his colour slowly started changing and he was back to sunbathing out in the open. Not sure if this is the same colouring your Lawnmower has Fay, but looks pretty similar. My lawnmowers favourite spot is bathing under the branches of the hammer
  17. Looking good :bounce: :bounce: For my own tank, taking photos gets a bit addictive and I am always playing with the settings to try and get better pictures. I usually find there is always one fish that likes to get in everyone

    Tank Update

Latest Additions Xennia Goniapora Bubbletip Anemone and Maroon Clown
  19. Sorry for your loss It must be the season for anemones on the go My little one decided it needed a bigger hole for its foot, or just didn't like its spot anymore. Found him rolling arround the tank yesterday morning he eventually stuck to a rock, but not for long. Had to take it out of tank last night, his foot looked a mess
  20. Looking totally awesome :bounce: :bounce:
  21. Hi Steve Welcome to the forum :bounce: :bounce: Sorry you had to leave your black ocellaris clownfish parents behind as they are in great need over here in NZ. I oneday would love to go into breeding clownfish, hopefully I can get some knowledge off you for this. Is that one of your clowns as your aviator? Eve
  22. Brilliant Cabinet :bounce: :bounce: Looks very well made and designed
  23. Hey slappers Watch out as the fish may eat them aswell, I tend to feed them while the other fish are eating and sometimes at night while the fish are sleeping
  24. Hey Slappers I sometimes drop a spirulina Algae tablet in the tank (usually broken into quarters) both the lawnmover and cleaner shrimp seem to eat them ok.
