power out 9am -6pm.temp down from 27.5-24.5 in that time. i did crank the fire up tho.

currently got a purple, yellow and blue in my display. considering other additions along the lines of powder blue, clown or another yellow. i'd be keen to hear any combination others have got or experiences good or bad between these combinations, thanks.

a w/c will help and ease your mind if one is possible. 20% is only 2x20lt pails. dont stress, my stream ate my anemone during the night and i woke to see the tank cloudy. as cloudy as 1 cup of milk in a 20 lt pail cloudy. i did 20% and ran extra carbon and all was good.

ive got the arcadia 3, 2x250w. still new so they are the arcadia 'brand' lamps. i would have thought $200-300 per lamp. me thinks me might price them up mine are 14k and seem very white compared to others ive seen, would prefer something a little more blue..

someone commented recently on the number of fish brought into nz and the estimate of how many salties there are. so 2 questions if youd please; how many fish have you bought in the last 12 months? how many fish have you lost in the same period?(death only please :lol: ) ive bought 7 to set up my tank and lost 1.(murdered by my purple tang) thanks.

prob works out to @ that. only 1 drop per 100lt per day tho so would work out the same or perhaps cheaper than some other options.

corals look happier, must be the Pohls, couldnt be the doris

both DVS and HRV operate on exactly the same principle. HRV can be more expensive as they subscribe to a vent per room. can make a huge difference if you sleep with the bedroom doors closed. if you keep the doors ajar overnight save your self some money and go less vents. i see @ 5 of these systems in operation each week and both work. if yours doesnt try turning the fan up or contact the co.

new carbon fibre spine implant by surgeon. i went and got some water 2 days before the op thinking id be out of action for a while, looks like i'll be all good super quick. uummmmm.....what to do with 900lts :oops: maybe sell it on trade me
