I have two of these fish that i just got that have laid a lot of eggs, i dont have any experince with angles so i googled them but didnt really get much in the way of help. I there a good site out there that anybody knows about for me to check out, i need to know what to do when they hatch and what they eat and how soon.

Hi i am in the prosess of replacing my ehim pro 2, i have a discus tank around 350 liters, the aqua 2200 seem to be getting good press here.I am concerned about just how strong the flow will be, does it do the 2200 liters an hour after the media goes in and after its been working for while or is it full on all the time.I dont want to much current for the fish but do want a clean tank.Any advise would be well recived.

Hi aqua one have a large filter that will do 2500 lites an hour, there is one for sale down here for $499, 2028 ehim pro 2 where on sale last month at animates for $379.95

I have a 2028 pro 2 ehim suppose to be the best, its two years old and on its second head, the flow rate was very slow, i have one jebo and brought another on the weekend, very good value for the cost and very quiet to run, $ 750 for the pro 2 buys a lot of jebos.

It could have mould inhibiters in the mix that will mix in with your water, maybe kill your fish.

Flagl is avalable from your vet if you give him a print out from one of the sites that have info about this, its not cheap the vet will get it from the chemist and it costs $90 for a very small bottle in liquid form.

No such thing and yes the runts are not sold they are disposed off.

There is an a peice about eathworms on the dph/nl web site and about microwaved blood worms.

If your discus are happy in that water why change it.

I have been keeping discus for over twenty five years at 28 deg plus NEVER had white spot .

If you have your discus tank at the right temp (28 deg plus) you should not be getting white spot.

Interesting to see someone from DOC complaining about the things that could happen to trout or samlon when they are planning to wipe them out in this country because they are introduced.

I buy toy stuffing from the warehouse for my corner filters, it does the job just fine and yes a zillion times cheaper and a lot more for you money.
