My cat usually ignores my fish tanks, but tonight she decided to drink out of one of them while I had the lid off.

I think the guppies thought they were going to get fed.

Is it getting cold up there? - Our cat is always on top of the tank when it is chilly sucking the heat out of the lights.

Misty used to climb under the lid and sleep next to the lights where it was warm. The only time she took interest in the fish was when we had a pictus cat. I think the silver attracted her attention...

Well people will assume! I think Cody is a great name for a female cat. I like names that are different, not your usual Fluffy or Smokey etc.

I used to have a cat that liked to sleep on top of the 4ft turtle tank (cosy). One day he came in as I was cleaning it and had the lids off and before I could do anything he jumped up like he would normally do and landed knee deep in the water! :lol: Poor cat completely freaked out and just stood there in mortification until I lifted him out

this is a common site in winter, the hood is aluminium so warms up from the lights.

Well, you guys will put chairs and stools in front of your tanks for the cats to sit and oogle on - don't say they are there for humans, either
