If its noisy its got an air lock.

Stick your lips on the outlet and suck.

they can be a pain in the but to get started sometimes

Didnt work at all :-?

impeller stuck?

Impellas spinning

all i do to prime them is blow thru the spraybar end until air comes out the pick up pipe then suck until water starts coming up the spraybar pipe. reconnect the spraybar pipe to the spray bar & away it goes.

And if that doesn't work siphon out through the outlet hose into a bucket. Mine's always started flawlessly except for two times. One I'd accidentally left one of the valves closed, the other I hadn't realized I'd drained the tank down past the inlet.:)

Oh haha, i just confused myself, If im syphoning from tank to a bucket through the filter and i turn it on it just keeps syphoning at the same speed.

I have a cf700

when mine doesnt start i tip it on its side, so the taps are pointing down. this has not failed to make it work for me. once it starts going stand it up slowly to let the bubbles out slowly

I just pulled the lid off mine, i assume they are similar. there is a rubber plug in the side of the head that i dont know what it does. is yours still there?
