Caryl
I actually have had a number of member names sent with no address details. How am I supposed to send them their magazines?? Burning the magazines on CD has actually been suggested wok and may be used in the future. It would create extra work as I split the mailing list into post and CD sections but I guess a lot less folding, stapling etc. If burned onto CD it would be in a pdf format. Would many be interested in getting this instead of a printed version? I am certainly willing to llok at the option. The breeding records were, for the first time, sent out on CD this year. Warren
I actually have had a number of member names sent with no address details. How am I supposed to send them their magazines?? This is why a standard form is required, - it should make sure the required information is sent... :-?
Caryl
Did you get that information for me Warren?
Warren
No, both people have been either engaged or no answer... I'm getting frustrated over these two, can't imagine how you're keeping it together with the number you've had to sort out.

jude
How big would the PDF file be? I'd be happy to receive it by email - that would save time and costs. Perhaps at the next AGM the constitution could be changed to allow for paper based and computer based versions? If people wanted CD versions they could burn their own from the email. Just my thoughts Cheers Jude
Caryl
The pdf files would average 2Mb so too large for many - especially those on dial-up. You bring up a point re burning your own though. What is to stop one person getting a CD, or email version, then copying it and giving it to other, non FNZAS, people? How do we control who gets a magazine if they haven't paid for it through subscription or club affiliation?
jude
Thats true too. People could colour photocopy it now but that would be so expensive it wouldn't be worth it. Beats me really. I just have ideas, not solutions     Cheers Jude
Wok
That is right Jude, there is no way of knowing who is photocopying the existing AW, even if it is in black and white. another way to save on costs is to send all the mags to the respective club secretaries to send out (only suggesting this cause I don't mind)
Caryl
That has been tried in the past wok but unfortunately most members did not then get their magazines.
