Gidday all,Dave at Hollywood fish farm has finished aquascaping his new showtank, ready to put the front glass on,700cm deep x 5' long.Anyone wanting aquascaping ideas, check it out, looks very cool.

.No wall, islands, coves, grottos, bridges, overflow hidden by rock.as will be the streams, gonna emulate this on the next tank, especially building up your rock formation prior glueing on the front glass.Dave has used a coral sand/cement mix to fix the coral rocks.Off to the barrier reef to see how nature does it,cheers Westy

Seen the tank last week, pretty interesting. Looks good.

I understand he is getting Deltec skimmer, tunze streams, chiller and 2-3 250w halides.Delltec calcium reactor.

so i think he has all the good gear to keep good stock so we might see a few acros also.

When I went to Sydney 14 years ago, I took in my Vid. cam, introduced myself and asked if I could film.

"No sweat mate, go for it"

All you have to do is ask.

Different when I filmed in the Sydney airport tho.

Didn't like those little machine guns one little bit.

Very short film, for obvious reasons there.

It was all I could do to stop myself stuffing it in my BC pocket and bringing it home with me. The corals over there were awesome. Could easily filled half a plane back with me. Some of the other anenome's I saw were simply massive - like 6ft x 4ft. And on one dive it was wall to wall fungia's - they were everywhere and all sorts of colours. Just stunning :hail:

Mind you, if we all picked a couple up and brought them home with us when we were on holiday (assuming we were actually allowed to :D ) then it wouldn't be too long before the reefs were trashed and there would be no place to dive on holidays and be blown away.

As much as I would like to bring stuff home - I think I prefer them where they are :hail::bow::hail::bow:

Went into a big fish shop in Melbourne a few years ago and there were signs everywere warning that the use of cameras and recording devices was banned in the store.

I've taken pictures/video in stores all over the world, including Melbourne. Just as Alan said, all you have to do is ask politely and let them know what you want to do with it. I tell them to share with my mates and possibly post on my local forum. Every time they've been stoked to get a bit of free advertising.

Thanks heaps for the pictures!

It does look quite good. With the pillar design, it always look MUCH better in person as well since it is almost impossible to get the depth it creates in a 2D picture.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of it all stocked up!!
