meesheelly
Hi guys i want to say hello to you all and thank you for your excellent site. I live in Wellington and I am a student as well as a swim teacher (im a bit of a fish). After putting up with tiddly little 20L coldwater tanks since i was a kid i have finally got a big tank. well not as big as i would like but i like in a little flat so it is big enough...for now. It is an 85L octagonal tank and i have 3 platies (all boys so no babies), a siamese fighter and 4 dwarf honey gouramis (that were all boys until Paul kindly swapped 2 of my boys for girls. Yay!) Im not to sure as to how many i should have in there but the tank has been going for about 2 moths now with no incidents. If any one has any ideas or comment please feel free to let me know. I look forward to hearing from all of you! Michelle

SpidersWeb
Welcome to the forums! You should get yourself a female platty or two Its great watching the little babies grow up. They will definately breed, and regularly, but they kind of self mantain population due to err 'dietry habits'. Another Wellingtonian, wooo!
