reef_man
Does anyone have any of these fish and is their any breeders that have them either, after sum!
Modern Angl
No and No. They are exceedingly rare, excessively expensive and on the endangered list, the Brazilian govt won't allow their export from the wild anymore. There are 3 in the country to my knowledge and they weren't for sale. Can the mods make a sticky post about zebra plecs being really rare and expensive or add something into the FAQ, I've seen this question asked so many times. Pegasus
Moved here from Freshwater. Can the mods make a sticky post about zebra plecs being really rare and expensive or add something into the FAQ, I've seen this question asked so many times. Hi MA, There are many fish in this catagory.. plus so many questions that are asked countless times. Posting things in the correct area usually means a short search can find things easily Bill. Modern Angl
NZ Discus man had some 'issues' with the guy in holland who was going to send some over, and it fell through, I'll let him fill you in on the grisly details.

reef_man
can you inbreed with fish? also who would be interested in buying some of these fish?
rcon021
mate everyone will be interested, including me. But the only problem is, they are really expensive they are very nice looking
Luke*
Yes you can inbreed with fish, if you're line breeding good fish, defects won't show up for a very long time, if it's bad fish...... after a few they'll get bad. Yea i'm keen on them! There use to be a couple in Hamiton who had actually bred them.

Alan
http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/ ... 1144276989 Check out this then go and deliver some more pamphlets, and papers and mowing lawns. Or rob a bank. It was for a breeding goup of zebbies 5 female, 5 males. Drool. Those NZ breeders disposed of their breeding stock to Aust. I think someone had wet pockets by the time they got to Ozz. rcon021
i have heard that people have 'taken' zebras from NZ to aussie.... i don't see why people had to sell them away ay
Alan
Heard of an offer too good to refuse?? The shops were only giving the $100 for them, and they were closing their breeding room down. Ossies were prepared to pay LOTSA muny for them. Alan
