wasp
Speed I couldn't find pics of those AWESOME Japanese tanks we were talking about, however this ones pretty cool. A few typical features of the better Japanese tanks, are powerful spotlights highlighting particular corals, heaps of flow, clever aquascaping and depth (check out the depth of this one), and clean as tanks they hate coraline algae. http://zeovit.com/forums/showthread.php ... t=japanese

trinity
The Time and effort that went into the design and how it looks is just absolutely wonderful :bounce: :bounce:
cracker
The guy/gal must have NO life outside of fishies. Unless he's so rich he employs someone full time to run it and clean it. (Then they are very on to it).

petplanet
but it is nice just wouldn't like the power bill could run a lead and plug it in to the neighbours They probably don't pay near as much for power as we do. All those nuke plants. They probably run thier power companys as well as this guy runs his tank. VERY nice tank.
Aquatopia
I couldnt see any bracing on the top of the tank - would those metal uprights be doing the job i suppose ?
cookie extreme
if you look at the fish, the population seems to change all the time also the type of fish changes quite a bit. makes one wonder what has happened to them! nice tank with no braces! raeh1
It is a cool tank. But to me it looks like he has to many fish in it. I think the fish stocking level is the hardest thing to get right. (to little and the tank looks empty.. to many and the tank looks crowded)
puttputt
I was thinking the same thing Cookie, first few shots I thought it was a fishless reef, last few it was packed with fish???. i quess its updated shots as it progressed. Very nice tank. Did you see the control systems on the new pictures added to the post. Well beyond anything i'd do.
Feelers
Very cool, although I'm not too keen on the gap above the tank, it seems a little weird to me that all the plumbing ect is perfectly concealed, but you can see the pumps and lighting at the back. Drifty
cool looking tank, I also wondered about the fish, they seemed to change every month(where did all the anthia's go), the pumps at the back are sea swirls and they cant be submerged
cookie extreme
I also wondered about the fish, they seemed to change every month(where did all the anthia's go), exactly what i was thinking.
speed
Wow, a truly amazing tank. Thanks for showing me Wasp! Living cost in Japan is so high and i wonder how this lad is able to run a tank like this.
AW
Gosh your a hard man cookie Looks like he just adding fish in to me, I did do a post with a month by month stock list but if you only post once a month you forget to hit the last button  Also got a conspic.....(sp) angle too (ka-ching) If he can aford one of those I don't think monet a issue. The anthias still seem to be there although the numbers have dropped, but I would expect a few anthias not too make it.....
