Tsarmina
okay finally got some (6), twas Esdots birthday, so we'll call them a gift. now have two questions and welcome any further info. 1. can we aclimatise these guys to our guppy tank, would be ice to have some in there for fun, and maybe breed the there as well. 2. the toughy, how do you tell boys from girls, so far all we have is the boys colours are brighter and the girls are a little rounder, whilst this maybe usefull info, it does make the task slightly more of a challenge. any comments welcome, any hints or tips valued. Luke*
1. yeah, but cooler water induces them to spawn i've heard. 2. males have white edges on their fins
minchton
I kept WCMM in with my guppies and in a seperate tropical tank and they never bred. Put them in a pond outside and they spawned like it was going out of fashion. Definately reccomend cold water.
Wok
I had wcmm with my guppies They did manage to lay eggs but right behind them were the guppies gobbling up all the wcmm eggs that were layed I would recommend that the wcmm go in a tank by themselves if you want to breed them. lots of plants too. alanmin4304
White clouds are not a tropical fish and do better at lower temperatures.
