are jew like little bubbles normal in planted tanks, gathering under leaves and kinda in Java Moss? they look so perty, when the sunlight hits them they sparkle like jews :sml2: but i dont know if they are normal or ok. please help me planty people :bow:

I will take this mistake with a grain of salt and leave it for the fish world to giggle at me for. What exactly are the JEWEL-like bubbles? what cause's them what do they do etc etc? I also saw a constent stream of fine bubbles leaveing the substract from under a plant the other day. same question, normal? ok? what are they? and why? please and thank you's

If the plants are new, it's common. Also, if you have sufficient CO2 and lighting to cause the plants to give off visible oxygen bubbles or "pearl" as it's also know.

Plants are new, so cool :thup: does that mean i should lower lighting and CO2? or keep it the same. ( I am using purely only natural light as tank is sitting in a box window so thought why not give it a hoon. free lighting and heating??? :smln: )
