Conaquavict
I got a phone call from a friend who asked me if i could come around and identify some fry for her. She found some tiny fry inside the filter when she went to clean it, rescued them and put them in a breeder net. She says that there had been a lot of. eggs stuck to the side of the tank a few days previous. The fish that she had in her 75g community tank were... 2 x common pl*co's, (i know) 6 x tiger barbs, 10 x neon tetras 4 x Buenos Aires tetra. 4 x glow light tetras 6 X Corydoras 4 x mollies Here's a couple of pics of the fry below, see what you think they might be. i'm guessing pl*co's BTW... The fry range in size from 1-3 cms

caserole
the eggs on glass sounds like cory's but the fry look like they have up turned mouths like live bearers ? the mollies are the only live bearers on your list so i'd say mollie fry. HummingBird
Without even looking at your list of fish I would say they're Mollies too.
Billaney
what color are your mollies ? I'm picking them too...
Caryl
Another vote for mollies here with no connection to the eggs which would have been eaten.
Ira
Yup, Mollies. When you have mystery fry in a tank with fish that are very prolific breeders and fish that are impossible to breed(pretty much anyway) it's usually best to bet on them NOT being the impossible to breed fish. Conaquavict
Ok guys, I have a confession to make, They are of course molly fry as you have all pointed out, i just mentioned eggs and pleco's to try and throw you a bit, sorry for the deceit, it was only a bit of fun, I hope you forgive my little prank. Now you can all give your selves a pat on the back in recognition of the astute fishkeepers you are.
