Godly3vil
Hi, I was thinking about getting a few of these to put in with some discus in a 450ltr tank. I was wondering if they would be fine as discus like higher temps. Or does anyone have any suggestions on which other plecs would be suitable? http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/sp ... ies_id=211 Cheers. Artem
Should be fine as long as you keep it at 28C and not much higher and not much lower I know people have kept L66, L002 and the butterfly plecs that are around with Discus. Possibly the Choc Zebra but I can't quite remember now.
FraserNZ
My neon tetra's started to die off when I turned the temp up to 28.5c so be careful
F15hguy
neons are from cooler water rivers and realy should be kept around 24-26 degrees, Cardinals however are from the same waters as discus so handle the high temps.
jim r
They should be fine but not sure where neon tetra came into the post ?
Adrienne
I keep King Tiger in my discus tank which rarely goes lower than 30 degrees and have also kept Chocolate Zebra and Tiger Plecs as well with no issues.
si_sphinx
All my plecs are fine with my discus and my tank is always above 28degs. neons are fine in there too and haven't lost any yet
