blueether
Oh dear, oh my, it looks like my bit of drift wood is too big Unless of cause I leave it sticking out and plant the centre hollow? Was thinking of putting my (getting bigger all the time) giant bully and maybe a small kokopu in there
twinkles
Nice wood I'd chop the end off so it can go upside down, then the koura can have the big hollow part for his house..
twinkles
Lol should have read properly. Does the giant bully like a hidey hole to hang out in then?

blueether
Have gone with the second bit of wood with another flattish bit underneath to create more caves.
Dana
First pic looks like a shark. Scare the bullies lol.
Ira
Go with the first one. A bog plant planted in the hollow and growing over the tank sounds cool.
blueether
Go with the first one. SWMBO said it looked silly sticking out...
Sophia
what if you attached air plants to the bit out of the water? it could be made to look very cool
blueether
In place (for now) and fill. Just need a pump and an overflow and I'll plumb it into the planted tank above, I guess that would make it a sump... Please excuse the two rocks holding the wood under
supasi
I like that. Can I ask what the substrate is? I really need to go out to the shed and strip my Native tank down and redo it. I got a case of Cyano in mine as it sits near a window and has obviously got more light during the day now that the sun is lower in the sky. blueether
I like that. Can I ask what the substrate is? This is really expensive "Naturally Sorted (Mangauika Mixed Grade), Aquarium Safe, Aquarium Substrate", I have some spare that I could send you for, say, $5 per KG plus P&H I really need to go out to the shed and strip my Native tank down and redo it. I got a case of Cyano in mine as it sits near a window and has obviously got more light during the day now that the sun is lower in the sky. My main tank is still suffering from cyano as well... The new tank is plumbed into the 50l planted one now.
