Zev
Sigh... Looks like going to Christchurch has just become more expensive... Maybe if I leave my wallet behind it won't be such a problem?
Phantom
It's a great shop, I can't wait until he has the back wall of tanks up and running. Already bought a bit of stuff from him (corals, fish, lights, suppliments and a few extras).

GrahamC
What is it about Chch that can support such a specialist shop? I don't think there are any shops selling reef in Wgton ... nearest would be Palmerston North.
Caryl
People can set up marines more cheaply as they have built in wave makers :slfg:

amethyst
Looks like the tanks have a lip around the whole of the top That definitely doesn't stop the water sloshing out. We have a lip right the way round our 1000l turtle tank, water sloshed out in September, February and June, surprisingly not December though. spoon
its not the lip so much but the vertical wall from what i understand. i dont know what it is about chch that makes it able to support a specialist marine store let alone so many other lfs, but im not complaining and cayrl about the wavemakers they are a special model you cant turn down ive had to put my ato on a timer so it only comes on when im home as it would pump too much freshwater into the tank after a quake
