Hi.

I have a plant in my Axolotl tank. Could someone tell me what it is please.

The tank is (of course) cold freshwater, and this plant grows amazingly, even in low light...

Thanks!

Hi

It was a little plant in this basin outside, had it for aaages, then decided to try it in tank and it GREW. Yes, lack of light as axie's don't like light, but it is much bigger than when I put it in. Do not know where it is originally from?

Thanks

Isn't it Callitriche stagnalis ie starwort'?

Perhaps slightly leggy in the low light.

No, This one is Elatine gratioloides. Tis a Native from Australia that grows well here. Commonly found on stream edges and in roadside ditches where it is wet all the time.

Callitriche is darker green and more fleshy.
