repto
where there is life there is hope?I would be more inclined to try and do what you can for it and learn from the experience that you can pass on to others?if it is not in pain and you can get it to the stage of eating for itself and get some sun on his back, could be surprising how it responds?I am a bit soft when it comes to putting things down, depends how much time you have? livingart
ii think the same repto it is about the size of a 6 month old also seems to tip over backwards in a sort of epileptic fit worries me that the spine has been affected badly
Insect Direct
thats sad. almost looks past it to me. would be interesting to see if it bounces back at all, but that maybe wishful thinking.
si_sphinx
Poor thing, i don't understand how people can let this happen to their pets They should have passed it on to someone who could care for it before it got that far.

Nymox
If the general consensus is to try and save it, I will make time to help out in any way needed.

HaNs
Is it worth preserving it in some way to show what happens when you dont look after them? Call it education
phoenix44
Give the curvature on the spine, I'd be more inclined to put it down humanely. Vertebra rubbing on each other is very painful - speaking from experience.
Zev
I wonder how much it would cost for an xray for educational purposes, would be good to see what is actually going on in there, poor thing.
reptile_maniac
I feel sorry for the beardie, he/she would have made a great pet for a loving owner
DonnaM
I wonder how much it would cost for an xray for educational purposes, would be good to see what is actually going on in there, poor thing. I'd be heading for an x.ray with that head position. $66 for a turtle x.ray... I guess similar for beardie? But as you say, if observation suggests its not going to make it then maybe best not to prolong possible suffering. Have you got a friendly vet who would do an autopsy for educational purposes? If you dont do one yourself? So sad and preventable.
