livingart
how does a peat substrate, cave and water dish. With minimal light sound? completely moist setup or just one area? plants maybe? log on ground or piece of bark, mosses around back like to have silk lined tunnel under something open area in front for prey to walk along and you can see the ambush

Cricketman
You should see the golden orb web spiders we had in SA. Web was so strong you could throw a rock at it and it would bounce out. Regularly caught sparrows and other small birds. Bite, whilst big, leaves a mark, and injects large amounts of venom, is not of medical significance to humans. These are the ones we used to collect The latest of thier kin. Insect Direct
The spider has way more patience than me Supasi - was found in a very old shed when a mate was cleanign up. I use to find them in old willow trees under the rotten bark to. Often see there holes in the willows with a bit of web around it, but inticing them out is not easy. Ill let you know if i get offered anymore.
