Which killie?

I plan now to get a triangular aquarium in the bathroom. With the 2 right angle back sides being 480mm and the height 350mm I calculate a volume of 40L, give or take a bit.

I am trying to decide what small, colourful, fish to stock it with. Was initially thinking guppies (gone off the fighter idea) but am now wondering whether this would be suitable for killies. If so, which mop spawners are the most colourful? I think I would prefer mop spawners to the peat layers. I have had A scheeli in the past. The gardneri looks nice.

if thats the case, why not King Killis?

large enough so that you can see them at a glance

full of energy in a majistic way

unlikely to breed (of more likely to eat their young)

Will live to be several years old (mine are over 3 years at the moment)

colours that only an artist could think of

Patterns that the great surrealist Van Gough could have ever drempt up

Plus the most fasinating thing is that they smile at you
